The One That Got Away...

Have you ever looked at something a couple of times, gone back and forth, ummed and aaahed, then finally made up your mind to go ahead and buy it, only to find someone has beaten you to it?

Oh the misery!

Here is the object of my covetous desire:

While waiting for an answer from an overseas seller on the postage options available, someone else snatched this one away from me.

I even have the shoes to go with it!

To make matters worse, I have a looming deadline for an important event where not only am I a VIP, but the theme is "Vintage Glamour". I almost cried as I kicked myself for not buying it yesterday, when it still could have been mine.

I'm off to lie down and have a Bex. Maybe drown my misery in Champagne. *sniff*

It makes me want to know Kittens: how do you make yourself feel better when you've had a less than perfect day? I'm in dire need of inspiration!

Omg that is so disappointing. It was so gorgeous :( I know I am not helping.
I saw so many things last night on outnet.com I wanted, this phillip Lim 3.1 top that was perfection and only 61 pounds (or there abouts) I went away from the comp for an hour... when I came back it was gone :'(

Oh, I know. I was just a little bit gun-shy as I purchased a cute 50's tea-length wedding dress that never arrived (thank goodness for paypal insurance!)so I wanted to make double sure it would arrive in time. Oh well... lesson learned.

Have a fab weekend and hopefully I will see you soon xx VV

Oh NOOO! I share your pain. That dress is absolutely stunning!

I hope something even better comes up very soon – though I know that probably doesn't sound too comforting :) When the internet didn't co-operate with me during an ebay war the other, I had a good half hour of pouting <:( but I felt better afterwards. :)

Gorgeous dress! Very disappointing. I will email you regarding this. I just might have something you might like and get you your outfit for your event.

EMATLW - I'm sure it only means there is something else out there for me... I've just got to find it!

A Cheery Disposition - Thanks for stopping buy. Yes, I hadn't seen one quite like it before and thank you for the compliment.

Brony - I got your email, but I am unable to access Facebook at the moment. Will be in touch shortly bella!

We regret the things we don't do, more than the things we do. (and that is why god invented return and exchange, just keep the reciept)

I regret not buying the Jimmy Choo knee length patent leather stiletto boots in the winter sales.
